  UPDATE, he had eventually paid me after I contacted the Department of Labor (the Wage and Hour division) and built a case. After an obscenely long time, I received a paycheck in which not all of my hours were recorded. A friend of mine recently contacted me with information about how to get their paycheck from the owner, as (according to my friend who got hired there shortly after I left) the owner was doing the same thing to him. Although another Previous employee I talked to had said that he never received their tax information (from the previous year), I received mine this year. I worked 12 hours every day with no break, and got paid for 9 of those hours each day. So yes, he did give me a final paycheck of some kind, after I had to look into legal options and such. What I learned from this, was to NEVER trust someone just because they are nice to you. "Bosses" don't care about their employees, they care about working their employees until they are exhausted and paying them as little as possible. I was recently asked to remove this post by the owner of the store since I got my final paycheck last year. Here Is my update to what had happened last year, so that people can know exactly what kind of person the owner of this establishment is. Original Post:: The only 5 star reviews on this page are from Marvin and his friends, Which is very sad. I'm contacting the Wage and Hour division today because I have not been given my final paycheck, and from reading the rest of these reviews, it seems SO MANY OTHER people have also been screwed over in their last paycheck. I wish I would have looked on this, before accepting a job at this establishment. I worked 6 days total, for 80 hours within that 6 days. I'm waiting on a paycheck for my final 40 hours, and after reading these reviews I now fear I will never get that check unless I take Extreme Action. I was told I was not aloud on the property anymore (even though I am still owed money) and that if I step foot on the property I will be charged with Trespassing. Marvin needs to learn how to treat his workers better, as working for 12 hours with no breaks and not being aloud to sit down for even a moment is just plain cruel. When I quit, he tried to tell me he pays me really well compared to any other place (He only paid me 9 an hour... which is only 10 cents over min wage at the time of this post.) and that he was "really good to me" and that I'm really putting HIM in a bad spot. I fear that I will never get my final paycheck and that He will do something to make sure I never get it, or that he will pay me less than what I am owed. I will update if he ever pays me.

  Owner is a nut job and employees are terrible. I will never go to this shell again, I now go to the one between Martin and 12 mile on Harper and they are much more professional and nicer. I recommend if you like shell gas stations go to the one Between 11 and 12 on Harper. They are real good people.
